Solar Impulse 2 sets record with five-day solar-powered flight


Two Swiss pilots, Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg, have taken turns piloting the single-seat airplane. Borschberg was the one manning the controls for the Pacific leg of their journey, as the Solar Impulse 2 can only carry one person at a time (Piccard was waiting in Hawaii for his arrival).
